Vol. 366 No. 4

Written Answers. - Outstanding Warrants.

148.

asked the Minister for Justice if there are outstanding warrants against a person (details supplied) who is at present serving a sentence in Mountjoy Prison, Dublin 7; if so, if he will list them; and if they can be taken into account during his present term of imprisonment.

Records of warrants issued are kept in individual court offices and it is not possible to ascertain whether outstanding warrants exist in respect of an individual without an exhaustive search involving disproportionate expenditure of staff time and resources.
