Vol. 366 No. 4

Written Answers. - County Kerry Schools.

170.

asked the Minister for Education the present position as on 7 May 1986 in relation to the proposed extension to (1) Annabla national school and (2) Kilcummin national school both in the parish of Kilcummin, County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter having regard to the fact that classes in Kilcummin are held in an old hall and in the local Church sacristy.

Mr Department's professional officers expect to commence shortly the preparation of contract documents for the proposed extension to Annabla national school, County Kerry, and they will be completed as soon as possible. The question of invitation of tenders will then arise for consideration and a decision will be conveyed to the school authorities.

As regards Kilcummin national school, County Kerry, I would refer the Deputy to the reply to his question on 11 March 1986.
