asked the Minister for Health if he will advise the Dáil on financial arrangements to be made by the Government in relation to additional resources and services required pending the passing by the Oireachtas of the Government's Children (Care and Protection) Bill, 1985.

The question of the allocation of additional financial resources to facilitate the implementation of the Children (Care and Protection) Bill, 1985, following its enactment by the Oireachtas, will be considered by the Government in due course as part of the normal budgetary process.
