Vol. 366 No. 8

Written Answers. - Flat-Roofed Houses.

70.

asked the Minister for the Environment the number of low cost flat-roofed houses built by the National Building Agency for each of the years from 1970 to 1980, inclusive.

The information requested by the Deputy is not readily available on a yearly basis. However, on the basis of information from the National Building Agency, it is understood that 782 houses of the type mentioned by the Deputy were built by the agency in the period since 1970. These houses were built under the guaranteed order project which was discontinued in 1973, after which no new schemes of that type were started.
