Vol. 366 No. 8

Written Answers. - Killarney Slipway.

99.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will arrange to improve and extend the slipway at Ross Castle, Killarney, County Kerry, in order to facilitate boatmen, fishermen and tourists; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The Commissioners of Public Works are endeavouring to reach agreement with local interests on procedures for the control of boating activities on the Lakes of Killarney. Pending such agreement they cannot commence the planning of any improvements to boating facilities in Killarney National Park.
