Vol. 367 No. 1

Written Answers. - East Wall (Dublin) Community Centre.

60.

asked the Minister for the Environment if, with regard to the series of grants announced in his letter dated 20 March 1986 he will consider the application of the East Wall Community Centre, Limited, Dublin 3 should additional funds become available to him.

The £5 million available this year for the new programme of community, leisure and amenity facilities has been allocated in full. The application from East Wall Community Centre Limited for grant assistance under the scheme will be borne in mind in the event that further funds become available for allocation. I understand that the centre has received financial assistance from the inner city group in each of the years 1983-86 for the renovation and development of their premises.
