Vol. 367 No. 8

Written Answers. - County Monaghan School.

165.

asked the Minister for Education if, in view of the serious overcrowding at Oram school, he will expedite the erection of an extra classroom at the school; and if it will be ready for use in September.

On 19 May 1986, my Department's professional advisers forwarded the necessary documents to the school authorities to enable them to apply for planning permission and to seek quotations for the provision of a pre-fabricated classroom at Oram national school, County Monaghan. Whenever a suitable quotation and planning permission have been forwarded to my Department, the school authorities will be authorised promptly to proceed with the provision of the extra classroom.
