Limerick East): The question of designation of areas for the purposes of the higher rate of fixed asset grant is one which is currently undergoing a general review within my Department arising from the report of the National Economic and Social Council on this subject and the subsequent study carried out by the ESRI on the implications of implementing the recommendations contained in the NESC report.
It is not my intention to consider any changes in the existing designated areas before the results of the current review become available.
