Vol. 367 No. 8

Written Answers. - Kerry Forestry Bog.

92.

asked the Minister for Tourism, Fisheries and Forestry when the forestry bog at Clydagh, Clonkeen PO, Killarney, County Kerry, will finally be allocated: if he will confirm that he has an application on hands from a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The forestry bog at Clydagh, Clonkeen PO, Killarney, which is part of Killarney Forest has been set aside for annual turbary lettings, as in previous years. All applications received to date have been accommodated. There is no record of an application for a letting from the man named at the address stated, but a person of the same name with a different address has been accommodated. Further applications, which should be made to the forester-in-charge, Mr. P.J. Bruton, Mill Road, Killarney, will be considered.
