Vol. 367 No. 10

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take Nos. 27 and 28. By agreement, the Dáil shall meet at 10.30 a.m. tomorrow and shall adjourn not later than 4 p.m. and business shall be confined to Estimates for Public Services.

I want to give notice, Sir, of my intention to raise on the Adjournment——

Just a moment, Deputy, I omitted to get agreement on the arrangements for today and tomorrow.

If the Deputy opposite would not interrupt us, I think you and I could agree on that but we do have troublesome, turbulent people.

I want to give notice of my intention to raise on the Adjournment the question of the residual responsibility of the Government and the Minister for Communications in regard to the regular and impartial conduct of the postal services.

I will communicate with the Deputy.

Would the Taoiseach indicate when the legislation concerning the Single European Act will be introduced in the House?

We hope to have it in this session—the legislation is ready— but it may be difficult to have it enacted in this session, in which case it will be taken at the beginning of the autumn session.

Will the Taoiseach be here?

Right here, and the Deputy will be right there.
