I am. There are various ways of measuring the burden of taxation. Under the terms of the National Plan, Building on Reality, the Government are committed to adjust tax bands and allowances each year so that the overall income tax burden on taxpayers will not increase.
Since the commitment was given, and particularly this year, it has been achieved or exceeded.
