Vol. 368 No. 2

Written Answers. - Meath Flooding.

27.

asked the Minister for Finance the measures the Office of Public Works will take to alleviate the flooding problem which has been caused by them (details supplied) on a river in County Meath and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The Commissioners of Public Works cannot accept that their drainage operations on this river caused or aggravated a flooding problem at the property in question. Accordingly, there are no plans to undertake further drainage construction works in the area.
