Vol. 368 No. 2

Written Answers. - Milk Super-levy.

102.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will arrange with the EC's farm Ministers and the EC's Commission to exempt the first 25,000 gallons of milk from the super-levy in respect of Irish dairy farmers; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The relevant Community Regulations provide that every producer who becomes liable for super-levy must make the payment due. There is no provision for any exemption and there is no prospect of any request for such a derogation being agreed.

Question No. 103 postponed.
