Vol. 369 No. 1

Written Answers. - Headage Payment.

388.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will take immediate action to ensure that farmers in the reclassified disadvantaged areas of the Slievebloom and Slievemargy areas of County Laois will now have their herds inspected with a view to qualifying for headage payments.

All cattle and sheep inspections for headage and premium purposes have now been completed in the Slievebloom and Slievemargy areas of County Laois with the exception of less than a dozen late applications. Inspections relating to these will be carried out as soon as possible.
