asked the Minister for Education the up-to-date position concerning the provision of a primary school at Castle View, Tallaght.

My Department has had recent discussions with the chairman of the board of management of the Castle View national school, Tallaght, County Dublin, regarding the provision of ten further classrooms to accommodate additional enrolments expected in September next and onwards, and to replace temporary prefabricated classrooms already in use at the school. The planning process for the building is in hands.

asked the Minister for Education the up-to-date position concerning the provision of a physical education hall for Killinarden community school, Tallaght, Dublin 24.

A physical education hall has been approved for Killinarden community school, and it was intended that it be constructed to a standard plan which had already been prepared by my Department's consultants. Following the completion earlier this year of the first halls constructed in accordance with the standard plan, it was decided that a number of improvements should be incorporated in all future halls. The documentation is currently being revised to incorporate these improvements and as soon as the revisions are completed, tenders will be invited for the Killinarden project.
