On 3 June 1986 Dublin County Council was informed of my decision to approve, in principle, the proposed completion of a new road link from the New Nangor Road to Boot Road in the Clondalkin area, without prejudice to any statutory procedures that may arise. Outline technical proposals for the scheme, which were received recently from the local authority, are being examined by my Department. As the scheme is at outline stage the question of providing a road grant does not arise at this stage.
