I propose to take Questions Nos. 207 and 208 together. Both of these group schemes are dependent on a water supply from the mid-Galway regional water supply scheme (zone 3). Additional information recently submitted by the Galway County Council in respect of their revised proposals for zone 3 is being examined in my Department and there will be no avoidable delay in dealing with these proposals.

209.

Further consideration will be given to this proposal on receipt of the results of the quality and quantity tests of the proposed source which Galway County Council have been asked to carry out by my Department.

210.

asked the Minister for the Environment when he proposes to approve Maonbaun group water scheme, County Galway.

I hope to allocate grants for this scheme shortly.
