I provided the House with a statement on this matter on 24 June. In view of the fact that investigations are continuing I do not propose to add to that statement at this stage.
In so far as consideration in the conference is concerned, the Deputy will be aware of the Taoiseach's statement in Dáil Éireann on 22 January 1986 that answers to questions about the Anglo-Irish Intergovernmental Conference will be confined to details as contained in the joint statements issued after meetings of the conference.
