Vol. 369 No. 2

Written Answers. - Disability Benefit Claim.

119.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare when an appeal for disability benefit will be heard for a person (details supplied) in County Carlow.

The person concerned was paid disability benefit to 30 May 1986, the date of the latest medical evidence received. He was examined by a medical referee on 27 May 1986 who expressed the opinion that he was capable of work. He has not submitted medical evidence of incapacity for work subsequent to 30 May 1986 and consequently there are no grounds for an appeal.
