asked the Minister for Education the reason for the delay in commencing the building of the proposed extension to Gorey CBS primary school, County Wexford.

My Department is at present completing its examination of the tenders for the proposed extension to Gorey Christian Brothers' national school, County Wexford. Until such time as my Department's 1987 capital allocation for national schools has been settled, it will not be possible to set a date for the placing of the contract for the building of the extension.

asked the Minister for education the up-to-date position regarding the proposed new primary school for Castledockrell, County Wexford.

The preparation of contract documents for the proposed extension to Castledockrell national school, Co. Wexford, is in hands and they will be completed at the earliest possible date. The question of invitation of tenders will then arise for consideration and a decision will be conveyed to he school authorities as soon as circumstances permit. I am not in a position, at this stage, to say when building works may commence.

asked the Minister for Education the up-to-date position regarding the proposed extension to Castletown national primary school, Castletown, County Wexford.

The preparation of contract documents for the proposed extension to Castletown national school, County Wexford are well advanced and these documents will be completed as early as possible. The question of invitation of tenders for the project will then arise for consideration and a decision on the matter will be conveyed to the school authorities as soon as circumstances permit.
