Vol. 369 No. 3

Written Answers. - Milk Cessation Scheme.

180.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if the Community milk cessation scheme will be confined to creamery catchments; and if unsuccessful applicants under previous cessation schemes will get priority.

Quotas bought up under the Community cessation scheme will be abolished and will not be available for re-allocation either within the same co-operative or otherwise. There is no provision in the regulations for giving priority to unsuccessful applicants under a previous cessation scheme.
