Vol. 369 No. 3

Written Answers. - Glenmore (Waterford) By-Pass.

74.

asked the Minister for the Environment if it is his intention to have the various stages of the major roadwork improvement on the New Ross-Waterford road at Glenmore carried out by independent contractors.

Phase 1 of the Glenmore By-Pass project is proceeding on the basis that some of the work, such as earthmoving and surfacing, will be done by contract with the balance being carried out by direct labour. No decision has yet been taken on the method of construction to be employed on the balance of the project.
