Written Answers. - Grant and Mortgage Subsidy Payments.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will expedite a new house grant and subsidy for person (details supplied) in County Roscommon.

The grant will be paid when an inspection establishes that the house has been satisfactorily completed and occupied and that all the conditions applying to the grant scheme have been fulfilled. The inspection will be carried out within the next few weeks. Payment of the mortgage subsidy will not arise until 12 months loan repayments have been made.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a mortgage subsidy will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford.

Payments of the first instalment of the mortgage subsidy will not arise until 12 months loan repayments have been made and the applicant submits to the Department the appropriate claim form, certified by the relevant lending agency.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason a house improvement grant payment is still due to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford.

An inspection will be carried out within the next few weeks with a view to payment of the grants approved.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will expedite payment of a loan subsidy for a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon.

The third instalment of £600 of the mortgage subsidy will be paid within the next few weeks.
