Vol. 369 No. 3

Written Answers. - Sligo General Hospital.

128.

asked the Minister for Health in view of the serious deterioration of the level and quality of equipment at Sligo general hospital and in order to enable the hospital to continue to provide a modern, satisfactory level of service to the public, if he will immediately provide the moneys planned for equipment in the proposed extension to the hospital.

My Department is currently considering the existing equipment needs of Sligo general hospital having regard to the funds available for this purpose in the 1986 budget of the Department. The level of equipment required for the new hospital when it is completed will be considered later at the appropriate time.
