Vol. 369 No. 4

Written Answers. - County Roscommon Sewerage Schemes.

33.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he has received proposals from Roscommon County Council for the development of sewerage schemes for Ballinagard Road, Roscommon town, Ballintubber, Castlerea and Cloonfad, Ballyhaunis, County Roscommon.

There are no proposals before my Department in respect of sewerage schemes for Ballintubber or Castlerea, County Roscommon. A preliminary report submitted in respect of the Cloonfad (Ballyhaunis) sewerage scheme is under consideration. Work on the laying of a foul sewer and parallel rising main which forms part of the Ballinagard scheme is in progress in conjunction with work on Stage 2 of the Roscommon town sewerage scheme. The local authority have been asked to submit detailed drawings and estimates for the remainder of the Ballinagard scheme and a revised preliminary report for Stage 3 of the Roscommon town scheme.
