Vol. 369 No. 4

Written Answers. - Templeogue (Dublin) Turkey Farm.

88.

asked the Minister for Health if he is aware of the fears of residents of Lansdowne Park, Templeogue, Dublin 16, in regard to possible health hazards attaching to the operation of a turkey farm adjacent to them; and if he will take immediate action on the matter.

I am not aware of the fears of residents of Lansdowne Park, Templeogue, Dublin 16, about possible health hazards arising from a nearby turkey farm. However, if the Deputy could let me have details of any specific complaints I will have them investigated.

If the farm is allegedly creating a public nuisance arising from any aspect of its operation, it is a matter for my colleague, the Minister for the Environment.
