Following the granting of recognition recently by my Department to the all-Irish school Scoil Raifteirí in Castlebar, and its consequent eligibility to receive building grants, my Department is in course of arranging for the inspection by its professional officers of a site proposed by the school authorities as suitable for a permanent school building to replace their existing temporary accommodation. The outcome of this inspection will be conveyed to the school authorities as soon as possible. I am not in a position pending the inspection to indicate approval of the site.
