Certain difficulties arose in relation to the appointment, under the social employment scheme, of caretakers or secretaries in national or secondary schools. These difficulties have now been resolved and approval has been given for the appointment under the scheme of a caretaker for Baltydaniel national school, Mallow, County Cork.
The local National Manpower Office at Mallow will be in touch with the school authorities shortly to arrange a suitable appointment.
