Vol. 369 No. 5

Written Answers. - Tax-free Allowance Certificates.

102.

asked the Minister for Finance the up-to-date position concerning a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12 who is experiencing some difficulty with his tax-free allowance certificates.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that, on the basis of the latest information available to the inspector of taxes, an amended certificate of tax-free allowances was issued to the taxpayer on 7 July 1986, on a "Week I" or non-cumulative basis. The inspector has had no communication from the taxpayer concerning his tax-free allowances for the current year.
