asked the Minister for Agriculture when a person (details supplied) in County Clare will be paid a grant in respect of a bulk tank which he installed as he notified the Department last January.

The grants in question are paid under a scheme operated by the Irish Co-operative Organisation Society Limited and financed from EC co-responsibility levy funds. The ICOS pass on the grants to individual suppliers through their respective co-operatives.

I understand that the applicant in question will receive the grant within the next few weeks.
