The areas of land offered for sale to the Forest and Wildlife Service of my Department in 1985 and during the first nine months of 1986 were 15,500 hectares and 10,700 hectares, respectively. The amounts of land acquired in the same periods were 6,932 hectares and 4,269 hectares, respectively.
