asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs when it is hoped that money will be made available under the Anglo/Irish accord for improvements of the national primary road between Sligo and Manorhamilton, as this is the main road from Sligo to Enniskillen.

The international fund for Ireland will be formally established when the necessary Irish and British parliamentary procedures have been completed. As regards the Dáil, a motion has been tabled for the approval of the agreement concerning the international fund.

The board, which will be independent, will consider applications for assistance already submitted and will also invite further applications as soon as it is legally established.
