Vol. 369 No. 6

Written Answers. - Grant-Aided Applications.

80.

asked the Minister for Tourism, Fisheries and Forestry if he will initiate an inquiry as to the undue delay in the grant-aiding of applications submitted by a company (details supplied) or their clients for sea angling boats.

I have made inquiries of Bord Fáilte and the following is the position. There has been no undue delay on the part of Bord Fáilte in considering grant applications for sea angling boats. An application from a client of the firm was approved by Bord Fáilte on 29 October 1986. A second client has been making inquiries about possible grant assistance but to date has not submitted a formal grant application.
