Vol. 369 No. 6

Written Answers. - Social Welfare Benefit.

131.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason a person (details supplied) in County Cork was not paid disability benefit for October, November or December, 1985.

The person named was an established civil servant at the time and had no entitlement to disability benefit under the Social Welfare Acts. Sick pay for the period in question was withheld by my Department as the officer did not comply with the requirements of notification and certification of sick absences.
