Vol. 369 No. 11

Written Answers. - Ballingarry (Tipperary) National School.

182.

asked the Minister for Education how advanced the plans are for building an extension at Ballingarry national school, County Tipperary; when this will be put for tender; and if he will give details of the plans for the proposed extension.

The tender documentation for the proposed extension to Ballingarry national school, County Tipperary, has been prepared. The project will involve extending and adapting the existing school building to provide overall six classrooms and a general purposes room.

The question of inviting tenders for the project will be considered in the light of the 1987 capital allocation to my Department for national school building, and a decision on the matter will be communicated to the school authorities as soon as possible.
