Limerick East): Responsibility for the disposal of the assets of Verolme Cork Dockyard is a matter for the receiver. It is an objective of the receiver to dispose of the assets in a manner which will facilitate an early resumption of activity and employment at the yard. As the House will appreciate any disclosure of details at this stage could have an effect on the outcome of ongoing negotiations in this case and would therefore be inappropriate.
