Vol. 369 No. 11

Written Answers. - Cork Downstream Crossing.

90.

asked the Minister for the Environment when it is proposed to make a decision on the Cork downstream crossing.

The project is the subject of a bridge order application by Cork Corporation under Part IV of the Local Government Act, 1946. The preparation of the inspector's report on the inquiry held on this application is at an advanced stage. I expect to be in a position to give my decision on the application around the end of this year.
