asked the Minister for the Environment when approval will be granted to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford for extra works to be carried out; if so, when the inspection will take place; and the inspections which are required.

Grant approval of £326 for the replacement of defective windows was issued in this case on 29 July 1986. The eligibility for grant of the proposed additional works will be determined at final inspection stage, as already notified to the applicant.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will arrange for a home improvement grant final inspection and payment to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

The inspection will be carried out within the next few weeks.

103.

asked the Minister for the Environment when an inspection will be carried out following the application of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 7 for a home improvement grant as the house is in an unhealthy condition due to extreme dampness.

The application in this case was received on 6 November 1986 and an inspection will be carried out as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason a person (details supplied) in County Wexford was not notified of the amount of a house improvement grant allocated to him despite the fact that the inspector called over two months ago.

It was necessary to have certain matters relating to this case clarified in the Department before notification of grant approval issued to the applicant on 4 November 1986.
