Vol. 369 No. 12

Written Answers. - Hospital Trust Limited.

26.

asked the Minister for Justice the reason Hospitals' Trust Limited have not yet been informed by the Government with regard to their future operations, as a large number of employees who were laid off in January 1986 are not considered unemployed and are not, therefore, able to claim unemployment benefit.

I have had correspondence with Hospitals' Trust (1940) Limited concerning proposals for the running of sweepstakes. I set out my attitude to any future sweepstakes to be run by them in my letter of 10 October 1986. The company wrote to me again on 31 October and I replied on 18 November.
