asked the Minister for Education if he is aware of the serious position regarding accommodation at Dunleer vocational school, County Louth; the plans his Department have to provide (a) long-term extension and (b) short-term extra perhaps; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

My Department are aware of the accommodation situation at Dunlley vocational school. The Department (a) are examining in detail the outline design proposals for the permanent extension and (b) authorised the VEC in September to accept a tender for the provision of two prefabricated classrooms.
