While I am conscious of the major contribution which commercial sponsorship makes to Irish sport I am sure that the Deputy will understand that it is a matter over which I have no direct control. I am confident that the scheme of tax relief on gifts to Cospóir for the development of sport which I am launching today will contribute greatly to sponsorship of sport. I will shortly be issuing the brochure on this scheme to all relevant financial institutions to encourage them to provide further sponsorship.
