Vol. 370 No. 2

Written Answers. - Limerick Hospital.

106.

asked the Minister for Health when his Department will proceed with the proposed development of the hospital at 18 and 19 George's Quay, Limerick; and if this development will be included in the 1987 capital programme.

A brief for the provision of accident and emergency and out-patient department facilities at 18 and 19 George's Quay, Limerick, has been submitted to my Department by Barrington's Hospital and this brief is currently being examined in the Department.

I am considering the capital funding implications of this project in the context of the total set of contractual and other commitments that are included in the health capital programme and I cannot say at this stage when it will be possible to proceed with the development.
