Outline plans for a county library headquarters and a branch library at Roscommon were approved by my Department on 3 September 1982. Detailed plans for the branch library portion of the scheme were received in my Department on 29 September 1986 and are being examined. There has been no delay by my Department in dealing with this proposal.
