Vol. 370 No. 5

Written Answers. - Inagh (Clare) School.

184.

asked the Minister for Education when the balance of a grant will be paid for Inagh national school, County Clare; the amount outstanding; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Substantial interim grant payments have already been made by my Department towards the cost of Inagh national school, County Clare, and a further instalment of grant will be paid as soon as possible. A small balance of grant is being retained in accordance with normal practice pending inspection by my Department's professional advisers of the mechanical and electrical installations. The cost of grant-aided national school building projects is regarded as confidential in individual cases and it is not my Department's practice to give this information.
