Vol. 370 No. 5

Written Answers. - Division of Estates.

147.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will indicate when an estate (details supplied) in County Kilkenny, which is in the hands of the Land Commission, will be divided; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Every effort is being made to dispose of this estate but, having regard to the limited field staff now available for all land settlement work, I cannot say when this will be done.

148.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when it is proposed to divide the Brock estate. Daingean. County Offaly, in view of the length of time it is in the hands of the Land Commission; and if a person (details supplied) in County Offaly will be considered for a division of this estate.

Every effort is being made to dispose of this estate but, having regard to the limited field staff now available for all land settlement work, I cannot say when this will be done. The allocation of land is of course reserved by law to the Land Commission.
