It is not for me as Minister for Justice to investigate matters of this nature. It is a matter for the Garda Síochána, in conjunction with the Customs authorities where appropriate, to take whatever action may be practicable and appropriate in such cases.
I am informed by the Garda authorities that they are aware of the reports referred to in the question and that they have taken appropriate action.
