The average enrolment required to retain the fourth assistant teacher in this school has not secured for four consecutive quarters, and in accordance with the rules, the junior teacher in the school has been placed on the diocesan panel with effect from 1 October 1986. As the rules for national schools are of general application, it would not be possible to make an exception in this case.
