The position generally in schools without specific indoor sports facilities is that physical education teachers utilise the available facilities to the maxmum extent. While this situation is less than ideal, Bandon Vocational School is more fortunate than others in that it is a modern school with a large general purpose area.
Bandon Vocational School is one of a large number of second level schools listed for provision of physical education facilities by my Department. Because of the continuing high level of demand for essential classroom, laboratory and workshop accommodation it is not possible at this stage to indicate when any particular school in the list may be dealt with.
