I am aware of concerns which have been expressed about unregistered tourist accommodation. Submissions on the difficulties being experienced by approved accommodation providers have been made to my Department by a number of tourism industry bodies. I am at present having this issue examined as a matter of urgency with a view to establishing whether measures along the lines proposed by the Deputy might be appropriate.
