asked the Minister for the Environment the housing schemes from Monaghan County Council and each local authority in Monaghan awaiting sanction; the present stage of development; and when he will notify the authority to proceed to tender.

There are no proposals before my Department at present for housing schemes by Monaghan County Council or Carrickmacross UDC. The information requested by the Deputy for the other local authorities in the County is set out in the following statement:—

A tender submission for 13 elderly persons dwellings is under examination at present

Killygoan, Pound Hill

A sketch layout for 20 houses has been approved. A Cost Plan and detailed layout are awaited from the Council.

Castleblayney

Conabury(York St.)

A Cost Plan and layout for 8 elderly persons dwellings was received on 3 December 1986 and is under examination.

Clones

Carn

A Cost Plan and layout for 12 houses is under examination, and additional information requested in respect of the Cost Plan was received on 3 December.

I will convey my decision on these proposals to the housing authorities concerned as soon as possible.
